HANNAH MCKENZIE

Hannah grew up in Canberra attending local schools, reading

fantasy books and torturing her family with long performance recitals.

In 2022 Hannah graduated the Victorian College of the Arts where she received The

Portland House Scholarship for excellence. Following VCA, Hannah starred as Emily in the acclaimed short film 'Love Forever,' directed by Clare Young and mentored by Jane Campion. The film was most notably accepted into Venice Film Festival and has since screened at multiple film festivals in Australia and abroad. In 2023, Hannah won Best Actor at the Canberra International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Oceanian Actress at the Septimius Awards in Amsterdam.

Hannah's dream is to create stories and characters that change how people feel about the world, telling stories that haven't been told before and changing preconceived notions of what women can be.
