ASHEESH SAXENA

Asheesh Saxena is a Indian-Australian script developer, writer, director and producer with a Bachelor of Film Production (Major in Creative Writing) from the University of Canberra. Asheesh has experience writing and directing short films as part of this education and within the professional community. In addition, he has worked as a script developer for Screen Canberra. During his time as a developer, he collaborated with numerous upcoming writers to improve their projects to an industry standard, several of which are currently being looked at by Australian production companies.

 

Asheesh is currently working as Narrative Director for Anecdote Game on their upcoming games Outpost and Luminal Space Station and has just completed principal photography as first assistant director on local Canberra production, Break A Leg. 

 

Asheesh has worked on national productions including Blacklight, Total Control, Kids Raising Kids and Sissy to help develop his technical on set skills. With a passion for narrative comedy and drama, Asheesh hopes to create immersive, diverse and thought-provoking content for all audiences.
